The Rockwood scale is a simple to use 9 measure scale looking a co-morbidities, function and cognition that easily and quickly classifies a person from very fit to severely frail and terminally ill.

It is a globally used scale and by predicting adverse health outcomes, it allows for strategies to be put in place to prevent further decline in both the short and long-term.
